At the start of my homelessness, I had three kids and then I had a baby as well while we couch surfed and stuff, which was just madness. I couldn’t find anywhere to live and was discriminated against because of my tattoos. Me and my ex-partner split up and whatnot and the kids just ended up coming with me. We moved into a property, there was so many problems. There wasn't a toilet, the shower wasn't working, the stove wasn't working. We lived like that for about a month and a half and the property was called uninhabitable. Basically, it was not safe to live in and whatnot, which ended me back on the street again and I've sort of just been couch surfing with the kids for months and months on end.”
