"I was on the street for about five or six months. The fact that I was living in a car made me incredibly lucky compared to most of the people that I was meeting. Most of them were sleeping either on the beach or there's a lot of homeless people that sleep in little doorways and alleyways. I think most people, at some point in their life, especially in their young life will experience something similar at least in the sense that most people will go through some kind of period that's really difficult where they do really need help. I think you'll find with most people who find themselves on the street, it's just a matter of not being willing and able to ask for help that led me to ending up where I was.”
