"Couple of old friends or ex-friends kicked me out. Had nowhere to go so I stayed at my boss's factory for a week and with the next pay moved in here. My younger brother got kicked out of somewhere else and he moved in. That's how I ended up here."
Tim
"All the real estates and that turned us down because of the way we look. We got the money and all the responsibility and jobs which they don't think we've got. So that's the problem. Real estates turn us down and most places that we can rent are housing commission or bungalow, grungy places like that."
But, mostly, residents at the Half Moon have different needs. Some have problems with drugs or alcohol, some are homeless because of financial problems or a family break-up. Some are new in town."
