Grandma Angela says nothing much has changed in her village since she was a child, except now there are more people. Her stoicism has got her through some tough times in her life: the death of her husband and the endless backbreaking work of raising her children in poverty. Now she and her brother have some health problems and it’s a long way to the nearest hospital, but she says that having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren living with her in the same house makes every day joyful.
